Robert Weil

Our vice-president, Robert Weil’s connection to Caulfield Shule goes back to his childhood having been a participant in youth minyanim and later was instrumental in the formation and growth of the Or Chadash minyan. He has served on many boards of management over the years and took on the presidency in 2012 after serving for several years as vice-president.

Robert is passionate about the importance of a vibrant Shule community and the role it plays in creating positive Jewish experiences and bringing families together and adding meaning to their lives. Robert’s wife Adele and son Daniel are also actively involved with the congregation.

Robert is also involved in the world of stand-up comedy, and through his alter-ego “Rabbi Mordy Katz” and regularly performs both locally and internationally.
